Chessy Bake

L made the yummiest cheesy feet and then sent me the recipe

Nigella Lawson recipe-
100g grated cheddar cheese,
50g plain flour,
25g soft butter,
1/4 teaspoon baking powder.
Put all ingredients in food processor and blitz until forms a dough.
Wrap in cling film and put in fridge for 15 mins to rest, roll out on floured surface and cut into shapes approx 3mm thick.
Bake for 10 mins for small cookie & 12 mnutes for large ones.

Take them out whilst still soft in the middle as they continue to crisp on the rack


I couldn't save them.

I ate the ones I got in one sitting :/

After the long drive today I was glad to meet up with L, J and V for dinner

Overall this was good.
I ordered mine really spicy but I was full after a few bites.

After the gym and reading I felt for lovely Asian food
I drove by the restaurants but didn't feel like going in

I went to the Asian Market and got dumplings

OMG
AMAZING
I used raisins and hot peppers and all manner of spices with shredded broccoli and cabbage
Great dinner and left overs for two more meals.

J treated us to Thai

It's L's fav place and I really liked it

I will keep exploring but in such a small area...

I mean within one square block there were no less than 4 Korean or Asian food restaurants.

Amazing

And really really cheap.

Steamed and cooked up

So remember when I made up my dumplings?

Well they kinda started to stick together so I had to cool them down in the fridge

Then I put them all in the pan and steam cooked them.

I decided to make my own dumplings

Got some veggies and seasoned them all up

Added some chicken (and a tiny bit of blue cheese)

Got the dumpling skins
